Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and consider us as parents. While we can’t predict the future, there are a few promises we can make. 

We will always respect and appreciate the role you play in this child’s life. You are giving life, and by choosing us, you can create our family. That is amazing and whatever else happens, you will always have our respect and gratitude. 

We will remain open to you. You might know now that you want regular visits, letters, or no contact in the foreseeable future. What’s best for you and for the child might change. Like any relationship, we expect it will take time to figure out what works for all of us. We hope you are open to communication, but even if you aren’t, that door will always be open to you. 

This child will be loved and supported.  Words cannot express how excited we are to meet our child. We don’t know anything about them, but we love them completely. We will encourage them to be curious, to pursue their passions, and to be kind. There is no telling where that will take them, but we are eager to walk alongside them on their journey.
