We’re Joel and Caitlin and have been married for 8 wonderful years! We met in high school and started dating about 11 years ago. Joel is the self-proclaimed funny one while Caitlin thinks her jokes are just as good. We are both extremely family oriented and always look at the positive side of things. We are each other’s best friends and get through everything in life as a team. We aren’t perfect, but we are good at learning and growing together as a couple and as parents.

Almost 3 years ago we were blessed with our daughter through adoption. It has truly changed our lives in so many ways. She has been such a joy to watch grow. She has always been a sweet and thoughtful child. She also has no fear jumping or climbing on anything. Like, seriously anything. She’s full of energy, awesome dance moves, so much creativity, and love.

Our family is very excited to have an opportunity to welcome another child through adoption. Our daughter cannot wait to be a big sister and we cannot wait to see our family completed. We have so much love and room in our hearts for our future child already. We would happily welcome you into our family as well if that is something you are open to. We will honor your adoption plan and love this child unconditionally.

We’ve learned a lot from our parents that we now use in raising our own family. We always try to lead with kindness and show respect. We don’t waste time on the small stuff or things that are out of our control. We’d rather have dance parties, sing songs, build forts, or do whatever fun thing pops into our children’s heads.
