Tim and Angela

Dear Birthparent(s):
We thank you for taking the time to read about our family. We cannot begin to put into words how thankful we are that there are people like you in the world, willing to sacrifice so much for the love of your child. If you choose us to raise your child, we promise we will love him or her unconditionally and give your child every opportunity we can. Your child would know how much you love them and you would always be honored as a member of our family.
We met in 1995 as freshmen in college and dated throughout school. We were married in 2001 and have been enjoying life together ever since. We have a great relationship and have always looked forward to raising a large family together. We were blessed with our son Charlie, in 2006. He has been the greatest blessing of our lives thus far. Charlie has brought more joy to our lives than we ever thought was possible, but there is more room in our hearts for another child. After having Charlie, we struggled with issues of infertility for years. We then happily made the decision to pursue adoption to continue forming our family. We believe children are a blessing straight from God... and that it doesn't matter whether they join a family through birth or adoption.

We also have two other family members: Webster the cat and Kristi the dog. Webster loves to snuggle with us. Kristi loves to do EVERYTHING with us! We take her on walks, play fetch with her, run around with her, and take her to the dog park. She is great with all children: Charlie, neighborhood kids, and even babies!
We are a fun and active family and there is never a dull moment! We like to do a lot of outdoor activities, such as swimming, boating, walking, playing in the yard or at playgrounds, going to various festivals and parades, and outdoor movies. Freeze tag, football, mini-golf, Candyland, reading books, and anything involving water are favorites at our house! We are members of the YMCA, so we go swimming and do indoor activities there too. We take several long weekend trips throughout the year and go to places like Wisconsin Dells, Chicago, or Minneapolis for special family bonding time. We also take a couple of family vacations every year, usually to Florida and Disney World.

We love to celebrate holidays and Angela typically goes way overboard! The family helps decorate the house for Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (especially Christmas!). We have special family traditions for holidays such as: going to a big cook-out, parade and fireworks on the 4th of July, “trunk or treating” for Halloween at our church (people from the church all bring their cars and decorate their trunks and pass out candy to the kids), giving flowers and may baskets to people on May day, and going to Walt Disney World every year one week before Christmas to see the decorations and enjoy the Christmas season. Angela LOVES to throw birthday parties too and will throw your child fantastic parties!
We live in a large house that has plenty of room for another child! The baby’s bedroom will be next to our bedroom. Our neighborhood is made up of newly built homes, filled with young families with lots and lots of children and babies. It is a small and safe neighborhood with two parks within walking distance. Our yard is large and we often get together with the neighbors and their children.
Tim has his masters degree and works in Human Resources for a Fortune 100 company. He works from home, so his hours are flexible. Angela has a law degree and works as an Assistant District Attorney helping crime victims. It's a big job but she only works from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We enjoy our jobs, but they don’t define us - our family does!! Tim is a sweet, kind, down to earth guy…and a TERRIFIC FATHER! Angela is a fun, loving, spontaneous gal…and a FANTASTIC MOTHER!

Our families live pretty close and are super excited to have another child in the family! Angela’s family lives about 20 minutes away and Tim’s family is about 2 hours away. Tim’s folks have a lake house that is about 40 minutes from our house and we have frequent get-togethers there where the family swims, boats, grills, and roasts marshmallows. Your child would have aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents who would love and adore them!
Our hope for you is that you find peace and comfort in whatever decision you make for your adoption plan. Regardless of what decision you make, we will certainly be praying for you. If there are any questions that we can answer that will help make that decision easier, please call or email us. Thank you for taking the time to read about our family, and we wish you the best of luck!
Sincerely,
Tim, Angela, and Charlie
