Hi!!

We are Erik and Kelly.  Thanks for checking out our profile.  We hope that this brief little glance will show you how excited Kelly and I are about adopting a baby.  To see and learn more about us just contact the agency and ask to see our book!!

A little about us...We've been together for 8 years and were married in 2010.  We live in Appleton, Wi and we both work for Target.  Kelly runs a store in the area and I run the operations in another.  We have both been with Target for close to 10 years!  We don't have any children right now, but we do have Oliver.  Oliver is our American Bulldog.  He is a lovable bumbling buddy and would make the perfect "big brother."  Although we are unable to conceive a child, for us, parenthood really just means being able to love, care for, and raise a child.  We are ready to welcome a baby into our lives and love him/her unconditionally.

 
I (Erik) am originally from Michigan.  I have 2 older brothers.  My brother Ryan lives here in Appleton and is married with 2 kids; Ashley who is 9 years old and Brent who is 6 years old.  That is them in the picture with Kelly and I at a Milwaukee Brewer's baseball game!  My brother Dave lives in Michigan with his wife and my niece Dominique.  Dominique is 9 years old.  My dad isn't actually my biological father, but that didn't matter to me.  He loved me and helped mold me into the man that I am today.  That is why I'm excited about being a dad!

Kelly is from Green Bay and has one sister named Karrie and a brother named Marc.  Kelly's sister Karrie has a 2 kids Jada who is 13 years old, and Gavin who is 11 years old.  The kids were recently adopted by their stepfather Aaron.  They are an awesome family.  Jada has already volunteered to be our babysitter!  Kelly's biggest role model is her mom.  Her mom worked hard to provide for her family and she taught them about life and love.  Kelly is a lot like her mom which is why I know she's going to be a great mom herself!

Hanging out with our family is what Kelly and I enjoy the most.  We spend a lot of time with our nieces and nephews and try to make the most out of everything we do with them.  We often find things to do that include some type of fun learning or new experience.  I know Gavin had a blast when we took him to see a dinosaur exhibit at the museum in Green Bay.  

Kelly and I love to try new things.  We cook new food together.  We go on new adventures, like kayaking, together.  We have even been zip-lining through the jungle.  We love to meet new people and we also have dreamed of starting a family together.  If you would like, we would enjoy getting to know more about you.  We would love for you to meet us and ask us questions.  We understand that you are about to make a big decision and you need to make sure that you find a perfect match for your baby.  If it helps with your decision we want you to know this:  Our commitment to you is that we will be open and honest with you.  We will build our family on the foundation of unconditional love.  Your child will have everything he/she needs to learn and grow.  Most importantly, your child will always know the tremendous amount of love that you have and that it is because of this love that you were able to come to the decision of adoption.
