Dear Expectant Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about our family. We have been married for fourteen years and have known each other since high school. We both grew up in close, loving catholic families and continue to have a close relationship with them. Family is extremely important to us and we have been blessed with a great one. Sean has one sister and Sharon has four sisters (one of whom is a twin). When you add two sets of grandparents, all the spouses, aunts and uncles, our twelve nieces and nephews and extended family and friends we have quite a big family. We enjoy frequent family get togethers whether it's celebrating a birthday, watching a Packer game, having a Fish Fry or watching one of the children's activities; we just enjoy spending time together. We feel fortunate to have family members whom we also consider to be our friends. Not everyone has that type of relationship with family.

We have a wonderful marriage based on trust, respect, commitment, and a true love for one another. We are supportive of one another and enjoy a sense of humor. We are both people persons and have a strong faith. We like sports, music, animals, nature, spending time with family and friends, playing games, going out to eat, watching movies, going for walks, bike riding, gardening, and traveling. We have played on volleyball and soccer leagues together. During the winter months we enjoy vacations to places like Jamaica, Hawaii, and Mexico. During the summer months we enjoy weekend trips to the Wisconsin Dells and Door County or extended trips to places like California or Virginia Beach.

The biggest joy in our lives was being blessed withe the adoption of our son, Cameron. He is two years old and shares the same birthday with Sharon! We fell in love with him the moment we saw him and held him in our arms. He has a very sweet, loving, and playful personality. He loves snuggling, giving hugs and kisses, and making silly faces. He has many favorite activities and lots of toys and books. He loves to play with cars, trucks, and balls; play chase, color ,go to the park, and go to the zoo. He also likes to read, dance and help mom and dad water the garden and flowers in our yard. He too is a people person and enjoys getting together with friends and family. Cameron will make a wonderful big brother and we have plenty of room in our hearts to love and adore another child!

Sean is self employed. He has a delivery business that distributes cargo for local businesses and is a licensed real estate agent.. While Sean is very hard working, he enjoys having the flexibility to set his own schedule to allow time for family and fun. Sharon works part-time at a local hospital as a speech-language pathologist and specializes in neurological rehabilitation. She works with people who have brain injuries from various causes like strokes, car and motorcycle accidents, and gunshot wounds. Sharon especially enjoys using her Spanish speaking skills when working with her Hispanic patients who are unable to speak English. When we are both working, Cameron stays at home with his grandmothers. Our children will never be placed in day care or watched by someone outside of our family.

We live in a middle-upper class suburb with excellent schools and a very safe and friendly neighborhood. We have a great big yard with lots of toys like the swing set/play gym that Sean and our brother-in-law, Dan, built. Our children will be sent to parochial schools and be given opportunities to learn and try what interests them (i.e. different sports, a music instrument, or a foreign language).

Your baby will know who you are and about your family (if you choose) and that his/her birth parents loved him/her so much they wanted what was best for him/her. He/she will be showered with love and affection, will be taught to love people of all races and backgrounds; respect nature, the environment, and animals; and be exposed to various types of music, arts and travel. He/she will know what it is to love, trust and be respected. Your child will be taught basic Christian values like being kind and forgiving to others.

We hope it will ease your mind to know what a wonderful family your baby could have with us. You are contemplating the greatest gift of love one could give. Rest assured that should you choose us as your baby's family, your baby will be raised in a stable, loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and joy.

Sincerely,

Sean, Sharon and Cameron
