Al & Lucy

Dear Birthparents,

Hello, our names are Lucy and Al Gilat.  We admire your courage and caring as you go through this hard decision. We appreciate the opportunity to tell you about ourselves.

We have been soul mates for eighteen years and have been married for four of those wonderful years. We have always wanted to have children but were not able to conceive naturally. Our dream is to create our family through adoption. 

Our home is near many lakes, beaches, and playgrounds. Al and I spend much quality time together boating, swimming, taking our mini-wiener dog, Schotze, for walks, visiting family, and of course, shopping! We also take vacations with family often.  We have a nursery all set for when our time comes when we have the opportunity to welcome home a baby. 

Al and his brother, John, own a large sized grain farm/ranch in northern Minnesota,which is visited a couple times a year. Al  is a lead machinist/mechanic in the aviation industry. Between the family business and my husband’s career, I am able to be a homemaker and will be a stay at home mom.We are very grateful and excited that you have taken your time to look at our online profile.
